The Ventura County Voting Reform Project.
Volunteers working to UPGRADE our elections!
Who Are We?
The Ventura County Voting Reform Project (VC Vote) is a non-partisan, all-volunteer coalition of Ventura County residents working to reform elections at the local and county levels by implementing ranked choice voting (RCV) and proportional representation.
VC Vote is powered by a passionate team of volunteers united by a shared commitment to RCV. We come from all walks of life—spanning political beliefs, genders, ages, races, and nationalities—bringing a wide range of perspectives to the table. What binds us is a belief in fairer, more representative elections where every voice matters.
We endeavor to build a voting system that works for everyone in Ventura County.
Created in 2023 with a single volunteer, VC Vote has grown to hundreds of supporters and dozens of active volunteers spread across the County, its ten incorporated cities, and its many unincorporated areas.
